A licensed civil wedding venue set in 543 acres of stunning parkland, we offer three locations to suit the scale of your celebrations and the size of your guest list perfectly.
 
Brocket Hall
Set within 543 acres of landscaped grounds, few properties in England can claim to have been the home to two prime ministers, played host to George IV, Queen Victoria and the infamous Lady Caroline Lamb who introduced the Waltz to England in the Ballroom - which can seat from 50 - 150 guests for your wedding breakfast. The Ballroom is sumptuously decorated with fine paintings, including the stunning ceiling painted by Sir Francis Wheatley. Your special day would include the unique service of our Head Butler and his team. The Boardroom can accommodate your evening reception of up to 200 guests.
There are 30 luxurious double bedrooms within Brocket Hall and a further 16 bedrooms in the Melbourne Lodge, sleeping a maximum of 88 guests.
 
The Golf Club
The Golf Club offers superb views over the championship golf courses and Broadwater. The Oak Room, with picturesque views over the Broadwater can accommodate 80 - 120 guests comfortably for a Wedding Breakfast, and hold 150 people for a finger-buffet and dancing. This room has oak beams with a vaulted ceiling, and original barn features. Guests have direct access onto a garden terrace for their drinks reception. Melbourne Lodge bedrooms are available to guests for your occasion.
 
Auberge du Lac
Formerly, the 17th Century hunting lodge for the Estate is now a unique, tranquil waterside restaurant. The restaurant is offered on an exclusive use basis for your wedding, the nature of exclusive use ensures there will be no other dining taking place on your chosen day, allowing yourself, family, colleagues and guests the privacy of Hertfordshire’s award-winning restaurant. A more intimate number of 40 - 60 guests can be accommodated within Auberge du Lac, with an additional 40 guests for your evening reception. Melbourne Lodge bedrooms are available to guests for your occasion.
