At first glimpse of Natural Retreats Yorkshire Dales you’ll fall in love with the beautiful, uninterrupted views of the Swale Valley and rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. Set within 55 acres of some of England’s finest countryside, it’s a secluded and idyllic location for your big day.

We want to ensure that each and every part of your wedding is tailored to you, helping build a perfect experience and lifelong memories that will stay with you forever. We offer a range of packages and catering options to suit your individual tastes and budget and are here to help with any additional requirements – from recommending florists to arranging spa treatments, your wish is our command!

Our spacious Sanctuary is the perfect place for both your ceremony and reception. Bathed in natural light, the venue sits atop a hill offering breath-taking views across the valley. At the Sanctuary there is a choice of three rooms to suit your party size, or alternatively the entire space is available for hire for larger celebrations.

The Sanctuary can accommodate ceremonies for up to 100 guests, followed by a sit down wedding breakfast for up to 100 guests in our Swale room. For more intimate celebrations our Aislabeck room is perfect for up to 40 guests. And, for evening receptions, we can hold up 200 guests. Those with larger party sizes may be interested in hiring a marquee or stunning teepee-style tent on the adjacent land, this can be arranged for you upon request.
