About Rhos-Y-Gilwen

The Oak Hall at Rhosygilwen, built only a few years ago, but along very traditional lines, has all the modern facilities you could wish for, but with it the feel and beauty of times gone by! The green oak frame gives a lovely feel to the Hall, with very simple colours giving a wonderful neutral backdrop to enable you to put your own touches to your own special occasion. The Orangery (attached) with its glass walls, lantern skylight and chequerboard floor is at once traditional and contemporary and has views to die for! Even if the rain is pouring and you can't go outside you can still enjoy the breathtaking views and feel that you are there.
Totally self-contained with its own bar, hi-spec kitchens and all facilities, The Oak Hall (Neuadd y Ddwerwen) has everything you need for your event in one location. We do have limited accommodation available to your party, with complimentary accommodation for the Bridal Couple or you are able to hire the whole estate for the weekend and have all your close friends and family staying with you in the Mansion - just 100 metres from the Hall.
The oak for the Hall was provided from sustainable resources, and with our own solar park supplying the electricity, and the underfloor heating being supplied from a ground source heat array, we are doing our best to help the environment, too.
