Customs and Superstitions

Customs and Superstitions

Wedding customs and superstitions have been around for generations. With Civil Partnerships being legally recognised in December 2005, this also presents the opportunity to create your own unique customs or to adopt and improve on old traditional ones.

Pink Improved

It is traditional for the bride to carry good luck charms, such as a black cat or a silver horseshoe. This symbolises good luck, wealth and prosperity. Every marriage should attract good luck, wealth and prosperity. Introduce some colour to the occasion, give your pussycat a pink collar or carry a pink horseshoe.
